Issue #1 When is 800m not 800m? ...when Garmin says it isn't. Swam the course mid-day today under less than ideal conditions. NW 4-6 knots (mild chop). Not sure if the GPS readings are off OR if the distance from Buoy #1 to Buoy #9 is in fact a little over 900m. If anyone else has tracked their swim around the perimeter, I'd be interested in obtaining your recorded distance(s). May have to move a couple buoys to close the gap. Issue #1 just a few more to go Sunday - July 27th. The last of the swim buoys went in today. Nice to see some folks already enjoying the Open Water Course. See you in the water!

Issue #1 at last, the Buoys are in! Admittedly, it's taken longer than expected...the good news is... the swim buoys have finally been deployed. See you in the water!

Dispatch > Does a segment currently exist on Strava? Not that I'm aware of... Will someone create the segment(s)? Undoubtedly so... Ideally, the community will arrive at a consensus as to a best practice for creating the segment(s). Segment A: 800M (1-way) Segment B: 1600M (there & back) Etc...
